Nigerian artist, Ckay has dethroned Davido on the popular music streaming app, Spotify.
The Love Nwantiti crooner is officially the 4th most streamed African artist on Spotify with over 880 million streams. He is 700 million streams from catching up with Mr Eazi, who has over 1.5 Billion Streams and is currently the third most-streamed African artist.
Wizkid is still the king of Spotify with over 4 Billion Streams and Burna Boy is 2 Billion Streams from catching up with Wizkid. Ckay’s Spotify’s achievement is closely tied to his big TikTok break with Love Nwantiti.
Although Davido is still the 5th most-streamed African artist, Wizkid FC couldn’t miss the opportunity to drag him. According to them, Davido fell off and has now been replaced by Ckay.
